My Review:

I have read a number of book by RJ Scott and I can honestly say that she is a very solid author.  Bodyguard to a Sex God is not a particularly long book but every page is focused on developing the characters and story  line, as well as throwing in some nice secondary characters, a bit of angst and even an interesting little plot twist I didn’t see coming.

Logan has been acting since he was a teenager but has none of the ‘entitled jerk’ attitude that you might expect from a child actor.  He is generally a very nice guy and really down to earth.  Unfortunately, someone is stalking him and the show’s producers want him protected.  That is where we meet Adam!

Adam has no use for actors and celebrities, feeling like they are more trouble than they are really worth.  However, he can’t seem to take his eyes off of Logan. While he is physically attracted to Logan, he is also determined to maintain a professional distance to ensure Logan’s safety.

Logan is in the closet, which means even if he were to get involved with his sexy bodyguard, he need to keep it under wraps.  Or does he even care about staying in his closet any more?  He struggles with worries about how his sexuality will effect his future career.  Adam has never felt an attraction to a client and is struggling with how to proceed.

Both Logan and Adam are strong characters who are very well written.  Adam is rather reserved and Logan a bit unsure of himself at times but they fit well together and they actually communicate fairly well.  The secondary characters in this book have wonderful personalities and I can’t wait til I get to Ross and Kyle’s story!

There is an immediate attraction between the two main characters but I am glad Ms. Scott waiting til after the half way mark before they really got physical with other.  It gave her time to fully develop the plot and characters before sex started coming into play.

While I kindof figured out who the ‘bad guy’ was in this story early on, there is a tad bit of a plot twist thrown in to leave you guessing til the very end.  Well done, I must say!

Body Guard to a Sex God is a fairly quick, easy, and enjoyable read.  I read it straight through and am looking forward to the next book in the series!
