Blurb:

A geeky science writer has a crush on his postman—but will he ever make a move?

Working from home suits introvert Jim until he gets a special delivery—an extremely cute, temporary postman called Patrick. Jim’s drawn to his wide smile and sexy legs, while Patrick can’t keep his eyes off Jim’s package.

Their doorstep attraction seems mutual, so asking Patrick out on a date should be easy. There’s just one problem—Jim could fit all the pick-up lines he knows on the back of a postage stamp.

As Christmas approaches, Jim knows the end of Patrick’s postal-delivery contract is looming. Taking a chance might be worth it if it keeps Patrick coming to his door.

My Review:

I am honestly amazed at how much I loved First Class Package by Jay Northcote! I have learned over the years that most free ebooks aren’t worth the money spent on them and that very few authors can create a good story in less than 50 pages.  Jay Northcote has blown my previous opinions out of the water with this sweet Christmas romance!

In the beginning of the story we meet Jim…a sweet, slightly shy science writer who works from home. He gets a package delivered one day and is in awe of the delicious man on his doorstep who comes to deliver it.  Patrick is friendly and open and just as interested in the guy who opens the door but how to go from the porch to the bedroom is a good question!

Jim starts ordering random stuffed animals online just to see his delicious delivery man again but just can’t get up the nerve to ask him out. As Christmas draws closer these two finally decide to seal the deal and it is sweet and hot and very, very heart warming!

I loved the characters that the author created in First Class Package.  They were sweet and real and the flirty banter made the book go by so quickly.  There are such sweet moments in this book that you just feel warm and fuzzy from reading it.  Watching these two characters interact daily and try to work up the nerve to actually initiate something was both adorable and frustrating.

If you are looking for a sweet and tender romance to get you in the Christmas spirit, I definitely recommend First Class Package!
