My Review: 3 1/2 stars
Melting Into You by Cassandra Carr is a fast and sweet romance between two uncomplicated guys. Ben is new to town, slightly shy, a little unsure of himself and trying to setting into his new job at the local shelter. Seth is a Macaroni and Cheese king who creates amazing delicacies for his Austin food truck and he has confidence and looks to get whatever guy he wants. And he decided right away that he wants Ben! I thought he came off a tad bit pushy at first but, honestly, there is a very fine line between confident and pushy so I think it worded well for his character.
Both men are very caring and their interactions at the shelter with some of the people who needed services made them seem amazingly sweet. There is a tad bit of angst and drama towards the end that puts a bit of stress on their blossoming relationship but we do get a happily ever after which is always nice.
My favorite part of the story (besides the sweet and sexy romance, of course!) is the macaroni and cheese! Honestly, from the descriptions alone my mouth was watering and I have an intense desire to go try lobster in my macaroni and cheese recipe!
If you love a sweet romance with plenty of heat and a touch of angst I think you will enjoy Melting Into You by Cassandra Carr.
