My Review:

I have read many books by author Lucy Lennox and have almost always enjoyed her writing.  Felix and the Prince, however, is a truly spectacular romance ebook that is basically the perfect fairy tail romance ever written.

The Characters:

Lio is a prince and much to his dismay, he will soon be taking the thrown.  Much sooner than he ever thought would happen.  That means his days of freedom are numbered.  No more scratching his itch for men with his best friend and no more carefree nights of clubbing.  He has to settle down and work on the wife, the heir and the spare like his royal lineage demands.  But, one more trip to his favorite hideaway is in order.  He doesn’t expect to find true love at Gadleigh Castle and he really doesn’t expect it to hurt so badly to let it go.

Felix is finishing up his doctorate and doing research on his favorite subject: Stained glass.  He is amazed that he has this opportunity to explore so far from his home town of Hobie, Texas but is going to take full advantage of it.  He falls for Lio with a passion he has never felt before and when the truth comes out about just who his new boyfriend is, he knows he is destined for heartbreak.  Felix is adorable and slightly clumsy and wow, can that boy’s mouth come up with some awkward comments! He really is just such a cutie!

Secondary characters are amazingly well written.  You will see some characters from previous books and a few new ones that play an important role in this romance ebook.  I really want Arthur (Lio’s valet) to get his own story soon!

The setting and story:

Let me just say that it is the descriptive setting and the thoroughly researched story line that hooked me on this book.  I could practically feel the cold stone of the castle walls and learned so much about stained glass that I was just enthralled.  Honestly, I have never read another romance ebook that talks about such a fascinating topic. It is obvious that Lucy Lennox did her research to write this story!

I really liked that the truth came out about Lio’s royal lineage before the end of the story.  There was plenty of time for them to actually deal with the situation, come up with a solution, and plan a life together.  Of course, there was heartache and stress and then wild passionate sex and a happily ever after.  I loved  how the story line played out.

The romance:

Honestly, just about the most perfect fairy tail romance ever written.  Boy meets boy.  Boys fall in love while one keeps just a TINY secret from the other.  The truth comes out and some heartbreak ensues with tears rather than angry words.  Boys try to leave each other behind but love will not be denied. You will get your happily ever after, as all good fairy tails should have!

Can I just say that the chemistry between Felix and Lio is phenomenal!  Such a perfect balance of heat and sweetness that I loved every minute of them together.  The author sets the pages on fire with some very nicely written details that will leave you breathless!

Overally, if you are looking for an amazing romance ebook to add to your reading list, Felix and the Prince by Lucy Lennox is definitely a good choice!
