THE INTERVIEW QUESTIONS:

Tell us a little bit about yourself!

Rodd lives in Dallas, TX at the moment but hails from the sticks of Oklahoma. Check out his web presence at RODDCLARK.COM. Interested in the M/M Mystery, Romance and Thriller genres but has a varied interest in many good books. His books have a darkly distinctive voice and deep characterizations. His latest work is the Erotic Romance Thriller “Rubble and the Wreckage” and is currently working on the sequel which he hopes to have released in 2015.

Can you give the readers a brief summary of your latest book?

Gabriel Church knows you can’t take a life without first understanding just how feeble life is, how tentative and weak it stands alone. If you desire murder, you hold a life in your hand. Whether you release it to grant life or grip tighter to end it, it is at your command and discretion. Gabriel is a serial killer with a story he wants told.

What genre does it fall in?

Romantic Suspense

Will you share a few words about your latest book, other than the usual blurb?

A M/M Romantic Thriller was not what I set out to write but the main character is so twisted and enjoyable to write about that I wanted him to have love and I want to be with him as much as the other MC in the book his lover/friend Christian Maxwell

Give us a little insight into your main characters! Who are they?

They are extensions of myself, in areas that I am not great in, or areas I wished I had been born too.

Will we be seeing these characters again any time soon? Is this book part of a series?

Yes, book 1 in the Gabriel Church Tales

Tell us a little bit about your writing style. When and where is your favorite time/place to write?

anytime I can and I always write on my pc in my bedroom with cats sitting in my lap

What sort of book do you enjoy reading in your free time? What was the last book you read? Did you enjoy it?

Crypt City by William Kowalski, and I enjoyed it much more than I actually expected. I became a new fan without even thinking about it.

Did you always know you wanted to be a writer? Have you held any interesting jobs while you worked on your books?

I have had interesting jobs in my career before writing, but after I took on the mantle of full time writer it quickly became the most interesting thing about me

What does your writing process look like?

like visiting the zoo during feeding time, since I am trying to write while cats and dogs beg for attention and pull to distract me from writing.

Why did you choose to write GLBTQ romance? Why not another genre?

I transitioned into romance from GLBTQ mystery books and now I find no real separation

One last questions…totally unrelated to books! I am a passionate foodie. Is there one thing in your pantry that you would be horrified for people to know that you eat?

Not really I am a huge fan of peanut butter and I drink coffee to an excess but to those who know me, that seems perfectly natural

Thankyou so much for answering my questions. I think my readers will enjoy learning more about you! Good luck in your future writing!
